A 14-year-old boy was shot dead during a robbery resistance in the Gulshan-e-Bahar area of Orangi, Karachi.
According to details, the victim, Hussain, was sitting outside a mosque when robbers attempted to snatch his mobile phone.
His uncle informed the police that Hussain tried to apprehend one of the fleeing suspects, who dragged him while escaping. Hussain was a Hafiz-e-Quran and was pursuing religious studies to become an Islamic scholar.
Police stated that one suspect was killed by gunfire from a bystander, while another, wounded, managed to flee the scene.
The incident occurred when two armed motorcyclists were robbing a passerby and a nearby citizen opened fire on the assailants.
