Fifteen-year-old Hassan Ali was allegedly gang-raped and after that air was pumped into his belly, which caused his death.
The horrific crime occurred in a private factory located in the Kahna area of the city. The victim was an employee of the same factory.
According to the first information report (FIR) lodged with the Kahna police by the victim’s father Nadeem Iqbal, suspect Shazor who also worked at the same factory, allegedly raped Hassan on the premises of the industrial unit.
He said the deranged man then pumped air into the boy’s belly, resulting in the rupture of the stomach and the intestines due to immense air pressure, causing his death.
He said the factory management initially tried to mislead him, claiming his son died after he suffered injuries while working there.
Nadeem urged the police to ensure that the culprit gets exemplary punishment for committing such a heinous crime.
On the other hand, a large number of citizens protested on Farozepure road with the dead boy and claimed that many people including the management of the factory were involved in the crime, however, police did not include their names in the FIR and nominated only one culprit in the case.
They demanded justice for the victim and his family.
