Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced a 10 percent discount on tickets for flights from Canada to Pakistan.
According to PIA authorities, a special 10 percent discount on our flights from Canada to Pakistan has been announced on the arrival of New Year 2025.
It may be mentioned to her that PIA plans to resume flights to Europe in a few weeks after the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) lifted a four-year flight ban last week.
EASA banned Pakistani operators in 2020 for six months after a catastrophic PIA A-320-200 crash and a scandal involving the bona fides of licenses held by over 25 percent of PIA’s pilots.
The safety agency has since maintained the ban, despite efforts by local airlines and the Pakistan Civil Aviation Agency (PCAA) to have it overturned.
It should be noted that the government of Pakistan is also in the process of privatizing the airline following a huge deficit.
