Pakistan is currently going through one of the worst periods in its history. Due to political instability, the economy has collapsed, and the rulers are striving with all their might to stabilize the dying economy. However, anti-state forces are doing everything in their power to bankrupt and fail Pakistan.
The Supreme Court’s decision on reserved seats seems to have made all preparations to once again bring PTI founder Imran Khan, who has pushed Pakistan to the brink of destruction, into the field to further ruin the already crumbling economy.
Imran Khan’s disgraceful fan following in the judicial system has torn apart the constitution and the law. It is unfortunate that decisions in the courts are being made based on personal preferences and the demands of household women rather than the constitution and law, as stated by Sindh’s Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon yesterday. According to Sharjeel Memon, the Supreme Court’s decision smells of favoritism and “good to see you” behavior.
According to Memon, the decision bulldozed the orders of constitutional institutions like the Election Commission of Pakistan. The Supreme Court’s decision has created ambiguity, and it has also overshadowed the decision of the Peshawar High Court. Previously, the Peshawar High Court had given a verdict against BRT, which was overturned by the then Chief Justice, Justice Bandial, in the Supreme Court. The actions and decisions of former Chief Justice Saqib Nisar are not hidden from anyone.
On the other hand, PTI is overjoyed, calling the Supreme Court’s decision on reserved seats a victory for truth and justice. PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar stated that the decision will be remembered in history. PTI’s lawyer Salman Akram Raja claimed that the decision was a victory for the constitution. Shibli Faraz said that the decision raised the flag of justice, while Umar Ayub demanded the immediate resignation of the Chief Election Commissioner and all four members of the Election Commission.
It is surprising and unfortunate that PTI is exerting all its efforts to remove the same Chief Election Commissioner (Sikandar Sultan Raja) who was appointed by Imran Khan himself. It is PTI’s habit to accept only what favors them as the truth and reject what opposes them as false.
After receiving reserved seats, PTI’s party position in the National Assembly will certainly be affected, as the anti-state PTI will become the single largest party. However, Imran Khan’s dream of becoming Prime Minister again will never come true because the ruling coalition still has a total of 210 members, while a simple majority of 169 members is required to form the government. Imran Khan cannot form a government by buying turncoats or aligning with single-seat parties.
Defense Minister Khawaja Asif, like the entire nation, is astonished that the highest judiciary made a political decision instead of a constitutional one. Relief was granted to a non-petitioner who had not even sought relief. The decision gave precedence to political considerations over the demands of the constitution and justice.
Renowned Pakistani politician Faisal Vawda stated that the relief given to Imran Khan by the courts would be detrimental to the country’s economy. Those who believe that Imran Khan will be released from jail should dispel their misconceptions because there is no possibility of Imran Khan’s release from jail at present.
Supreme Court Justices Syed Mansoor Ali Shah, Muneeb Akhtar, Muhammad Ali Mazhar, Ayesha A. Malik, Athar Minallah, Syed Hassan Azhar Rizvi, Shahid Waheed, and Irfan Saadat Khan recorded the majority decision. The entire nation knows that these judges follow a specific mindset, acting on personal preferences and household instructions instead of the law and constitution.
Justices Aminuddin Khan and Naeem Akhtar Afghan upheld the Peshawar High Court’s decision, respecting the constitution and law, while Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa, Justice Jamal Khan Mandokhail, and Justice Yahya Afridi tried to fulfill their duty by recording a separate dissenting note, but appeared helpless before the influential group in the Supreme Court.
The process of giving unilateral relief to Imran Khan in several cases continues. The elements providing relief to Imran Khan are those who wish to erase Pakistan’s existence because there is no doubt that Imran Khan is still a tool of foreign powers.
Imran Khan and his supporters who boast about Shaukat Khanum should know that it was built for the experimental use of Jewish medicines. Who does not know how Imran Khan, who studied and played cricket abroad at government expense, made billions of rupees, or how his unmarried sister became the owner of billions worth of property through sewing machines? Imran Khan’s character is not hidden from anyone. From his cricket days, he was infamous and sought refuge in the US Embassy due to the Sita White case. Does anyone not know this? If it’s about character, former wife Reham Khan deserves praise for highlighting Imran Khan’s character in her book.
Three days ago, Lahore’s Anti-Terrorism Court became the first judicial forum to endorse that Imran Khan and senior PTI leaders conspired against the state on May 9.
Dismissing Imran Khan’s pre-arrest bail application in the May 9 case, Judge Khalid Arshad of the Anti-Terrorism Court I Lahore endorsed the prosecution’s theory that Imran Khan conspired with PTI senior leadership and protestors/accused, aimed at waging war against the state. The court was not convinced by Imran Khan’s allegation that he was being targeted on political grounds.
By violating IMF agreements, Imran Khan intentionally plunged Pakistan into economic turmoil, destroyed the industry, damaged relations with friendly countries, conspired to isolate Pakistan globally, sold out Kashmir, and subjected Pakistan to dire conditions. If this immoral, corrupt, and anti-state person is to be handed the reins of the country again, be prepared for the sacrifice of the state, as Imran Khan plays a major role in Pakistan’s current economic difficulties.
