Worldwide coronavirus cases cross 83 million

WASHINGTON: The global pandemic coronavirus has infected more than 83 million people worldwide and killed 1,812,108 people.

More than 58.867 million coronavirus patients have been cured in the world and more than 223.83 million are undergoing treatment. The situation in coronavirus is the worst in the United States, where 350,778 deaths have been reported and more than 2216,000 cases have been reported.

India ranks second in the world in terms of coronavirus cases, with 148,774 deaths and more than 1267,000 people diagnosed with the virus. The total number of deaths from coronavirus in Brazil is 193,940 and more than 7,619,970 people are affected.

More than 3,131,000 people have been infected with the coronavirus in Russia, bringing the total death toll to 56,426. In France, 2.6 million people have been affected and 64,381 have lost their lives. There have been 2,432,000 coronavirus cases and 72,548 deaths reported in the UK.

In Turkey, 2,194,272 people have been affected and 20,642 have died. In Italy, more than 2,083,000 people have been affected, while 73,604 people have died. The first 100,000 deaths were reported in 89 days. On June 5, the death toll crossed 400,000. The death toll rose to 800,000 on August 20.
