Vicky Kaushal has stepped into a new phase of life as a first-time father to a baby boy with wife Katrina Kaif. Just over a month since welcoming their son, the couple is soaking in the joy of parenthood after years of eagerly hoping to expand their family.
Recently, during an award acceptance speech, the actor opened up about this life-changing experience, humorously remarking that becoming a father has made him more skilled at changing diapers than at acting, drawing laughter from the audience.

At an NDTV event, Vicky was honoured for his portrayal of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj in Chhaava.
While receiving the award, he dedicated it to his loved ones, saying it was for his family and his “little one” who had arrived as a blessing.

He also shared that this was the first time he had travelled out of the city since becoming a father, admitting that it was emotionally challenging.

However, he added that he hopes his son will one day watch this moment and feel proud of his father.
Reflecting on the early days of parenthood, Vicky described the experience as overwhelmingly joyful.
He said everything still feels magical and blissful, adding that the emotions are too special to be fully expressed in words.
Grateful for this new chapter, he shared that God has been kind and that the entire family is filled with happiness, dedicating the moment especially to his son.
