Two children injured by stray dogs at Karachi University

Stray dogs attacked two children on the University of Karachi campus on Friday, leaving a five-year-old boy with serious facial wounds and injuring a young girl named Hoorain, who was bitten on the foot.

In a letter to the university administration, the medical officer confirmed that the young boy had been mauled by dogs and suffered injuries to his face.

The officer also reported that Hoorain had been bitten by a stray dog and called on university authorities to urgently address the growing stray dog problem on campus.

Parents of the injured children claimed that the university’s dog-control campaign had been halted in recent months, which they say led to a rise in the stray dog population at Karachi University.
