KARACHI: Sindh Food Authority has seized a Dunkin Donuts manufacturing factory in the site area during a raid.
During the raid, Director Operation Imtiaz Ali Abroo disposed of over-the-counter items on the spot. Violations of hygiene principles and debris were also found in the factory.
The cockroaches were also found roaming around the manufacturing unit in the manufacturing unit clearly showed the deterioration of the quality of children’s chocolates and small candies.
Authorities Sindh Food Authority said that the water used in the factory was also found to be non-standard.
The Sindh Food Authority Karachi had temporarily sealed the factory and a fine of Rs 2.5 lakh has also been imposed on the factory.
