Seven injured suspects arrested in Karachi’s police encounters

Karachi police have arrested seven suspects in five hours after three alleged encounters and an exchange of fire.

According to details, Karachi police arrested seven injured accused involved in various crimes in just five hours in a single day. Authorities say weapons, motorcycles, and snatched or stolen mobile phones were recovered from the injured suspects.

In this regard, police said that the alleged encounters took place in Saudabad, Federal B Area, and Pirabad areas of Karachi. The suspects were arrested on charges of street crimes, theft, robbery, looting and illegal possession of firearms are being further investigated and important revelations are expected.

It may be recalled that earlier during a police encounter in Karachi, an accused who opened fire on police was killed in the Dawood Chowrangi area of Landhi.

The accused who attacked the police in Landhi yesterday was killed in an exchange of fire. Police and Rangers in a joint operation raided the house of the accused.
