SC takes notice of threat issued to Judge Qazi Isa

ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court will hear petitions against presidential reference against Justice Qazi Faiz Essa and Justice KK Agha today.
A larger 10-member bench of Supreme Court in Chair of Justice Umar Atta Bandial will hear petitions in Islamabad.
On 11th October, Justice Qazi Faiz Essa submitted further documents containing statements of former interior minister Chaudhry Nisar in the court.

In these statements included, Nisar criticism on the Quetta commission report, debate on social media, Justice Qazi Faiz Essa’s letter written to President Dr. Arif Ali are also part of the additional documents while documents also mentioned resignation of additional attorney general Zahid Ibrahim.
Besides that law ministry, joint associates unit press releases are also included in the documents.
It is to be noted here that the full court bench of SC has issued notices to all respondents including the supreme judicial council on the presidential reference against Justice Qazi Faiz Essa.
