ISLAMABAD: The Russia delegation led by its trade minister Denis Manturov during the sixth meeting of Pakistan-Russia Inter-governmental Commission said that it would expand cooperation in multiple sectors with Pakistan.
Denis Manturov said that the industrial sector, agriculture, energy, medicine, and railways would also be focussed on the deal.
The sixth meeting of Pakistan-Russia Inter-governmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific Technical Cooperation was held at the Foreign Office in Islamabad.

The Russian minister also expressed interest in building the geological capacity of Pakistan apart from building the North-South Gas Pipeline.
The officials from both sides held discussions for cooperation in different sectors including energy, industries, science, and technology besides consulting ways and means to enhance trade and economic ties.

The 7th session of the Inter-governmental Commission will be held in Moscow on mutually agreed dates.
