“Reacher” Season 2 has an official premiere date at Amazon Prime Video, with the streamer also dropping the first trailer for the new season of the popular series.
The first three of “Reacher’s” eight episodes from its second season will air on December 15. After that, new episodes will air every Friday until January 19, 2024. Below is the complete trailer.
Reacher was one of Prime Video’s biggest shows in 2022, scoring the streamer’s best opening week ever in Nielsen’s streaming rankings and earning a speedy renewal.

The second season is based on Bad Luck and Trouble, the 11th book in author Lee Child’s 28-novel series featuring the character. Reacher (Alan Ritchson) gets a coded message revealing that members of his former U.S. Army unit, the 110th MP Special Investigations, are being murdered one by one. Pulled from his drifter lifestyle, Reacher reunites with three of his former teammates (played by Maria Sten, Serinda Swan and Shaun Sipos), who begin to connect the dots in a mystery where the stakes get higher at every turn, bringing about questions of who has betrayed them.
Ferdinand Kingsley, Robert Patrick and Domenick Lombardozzi also star in season two. The trailer (which is below) features plenty of Reacher’s (and Ritchson’s) imposing physicality and the action that is a hallmark of both the books and the TV series.
Amazon Studios, Skydance Television and Paramount Television Studios produce Reacher. Showrunner Nick Santora executive produces with Child, Don Granger, Scott Sullivan, and Adam Higgs along with Skydance’s David Ellison, Dana Goldberg and Matt Thunell.
