Karachi is currently experiencing chilly weather, with temperatures recorded at 10°C and dropping to a minimum of 8°C late at night.
The Meteorological Department reports that the weather remains cold and dry, with a maximum temperature forecast of around 26°C. Humidity is at 37%, accompanied by light northerly winds.
On Tuesday, the city experienced its coldest night of the season, with temperatures plunging to 6.2°C, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).
The cold wave is expected to persist until January 9, with humidity levels at 27% and northeasterly winds blowing at 5 km/h. The minimum temperature for the next 24 hours is forecast to range between 7°C and 9°C.
The PMD also predicts a potential intensification of the cold wave from January 12. Meanwhile, the department has ruled out the possibility of rain in the province over the next week.
