The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast predominantly cold and dry weather across most parts of the country for the upcoming week.
Hilly areas are expected to experience very cold conditions, particularly during the morning and night hours.
Moderate to dense fog patches may develop in northeast Punjab, while shallow to moderate fog is anticipated in southern Punjab and upper Sindh during these times. Rain, accompanied by wind and thunderstorms, is likely in southeastern Punjab later tonight.
In the coming days, cold and dry conditions will prevail nationwide. The upper regions and northern Balochistan may see partly cloudy skies and very cold temperatures, with isolated rain possible in northeast Punjab, Kashmir, and surrounding hilly areas.
For Sunday, the PMD predicts continued cold and dry weather in most regions, with very cold conditions in northern Balochistan and the upper parts of the country. Isolated rain may occur in Kashmir and nearby hilly areas during the morning hours.
