On his 39th birthday, KGF star Yash treated fans to the first teaser of his upcoming film, Toxic – A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups. The teaser introduces Yash in a ‘toxic’ persona as he confidently walks into a club. In the final moments, he seductively pours champagne on a girl.
The teaser features no dialogue, only a musical score by London-based Jeremy Stack. Yash continues with his iconic KGF beard and a shorter haircut, dressed in semi-formal attire with a fedora and cigar. Toxic will be his third film in nearly seven years, following the release of KGF in 2018 and its sequel in 2022.
Yash, born Naveen Kumar Gowda on January 8, 1986, in Bhuvanahalli, Karnataka, has emerged as one of the most celebrated actors in Indian cinema, particularly in the Kannada film industry. His journey to stardom began with his early work in television, where he gained recognition for his performances in popular serials.

However, it was his transition to films that truly marked the beginning of his illustrious career. Yash made his film debut in 2007 with “Jambada Hudugi,” but it was his role in “Moggina Manasu” (2008) that earned him critical acclaim and a Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor.
