The Punjab government has issued an official notification revising office timings for provincial departments during the holy month of Ramadan.
According to the notification, provincial government offices operating five days a week will function from Monday to Thursday between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm.
Meanwhile, departments observing a six-day workweek will operate from Monday to Thursday from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.
On Fridays, offices under the six-day schedule will remain open from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm.
The revised timings will remain in effect throughout Ramazan and are intended to accommodate the fasting routine of employees while maintaining administrative efficiency across the province.
Officials said the notification has been formally issued and circulated to all relevant departments for immediate implementation.
