QUETTA: Train services from Balochistan to other provinces remained suspended for a second consecutive day, leaving passengers facing difficulties.
According to railway officials, the Jaffar Express scheduled to travel from Quetta to Peshawar did not depart from Quetta for the second day. Meanwhile, the Jaffar Express traveling from Peshawar to Balochistan will be stopped at Jacobabad.
Railway authorities said the suspension of train services is temporary and has been implemented to facilitate repair work on the railway track.

Officials said train services in Balochistan are expected to resume as normal from September 7.
