ISLAMABAD: Former Foreign Minister and Deputy Chairman PTI Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that Tehreek-e-Insaf is standing on the demand of holding new elections immediately across the country.
According to details, Shah Mehmood Qureshi said in a statement that Tehreek-e-Insaf is determined not to return to the Assembly. “Our return to the National Assembly does not make any sense,” he said.
It should be noted that there are differences between the PTI leaders on returning to the Assembly, however, Tehreek-e-Insaf Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that no proposal is under consideration in the party regarding returning to the Assembly.

It should be remembered that earlier, the former foreign minister Qureshi said that PTI is ready to negotiate with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif if the government announces the date of the general elections.
Speaking on a private TV program two days ago, the former foreign minister said that holding new elections is the only way to get out of the country’s political crisis. “We are ready to negotiate with other parties for transparent elections,” he said.
