ISLAMABAD: President of Pakistan Dr. Arif Alvi has called a meeting of the Senate today to discuss the political situation of the country.
According to the details, Dr. Arif Alvi called a meeting of the Upper House at 10:30 on Friday, which has been called under Article 54(1) of the Constitution.
It should be noted that earlier President Arif Alvi made telephonic contact with Maulana Mufti Taqi Usmani, the head of the delegation of scholars going to Afghanistan.
According to the statement issued by the President’s House four days ago, the President offered to provide educational facilities to the students of Afghanistan through Mufti Taqi Usmani.

According to the statement, the president reiterated the offer of educational facilities to Afghan students through online educational facilities and virtual universities.
President Arif Alvi said that in Afghanistan educational material can be conveyed to students through television, special arrangements can be made for women’s education in Afghanistan, and there is no restriction on women’s education in Islam.
