ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted dry weather in most of the country today.
According to the PMD, the weather would be dry but thunderstorms are likely expected in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, upper Punjab, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan.
The PMD predicted the rain in Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Narowal, Lahore, Jhelum, Attock and Mianwali. The districts of Chitral, Dir, Kohat, Mardan, Mirkhani, Saidu Sharif, Peshawar, Kalam, Kurram, Abbottabad and Mama Nishahara may receive thunderstorm rains, but other districts will remain partly cloudy.
The Meteorological Department has also forecast rainfall in Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. Sindh and Balochistan are likely to remain warm today. Earlier on Sunday, the weather remained dry in most parts of the country but thunderstorms rained in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir. The highest rainfall was recorded 19mm in Balakot.
