LAHORE: Former Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi has said that the Supreme Court’s deadline has expired while Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has been found guilty of contempt of court.
According to the details, the former chief minister while talking to the Pakistani-American businessman Tahir Javed said that Justice Athar Minallah has admitted in his note that the respected judges do not disagree on the election in three months.
During the meeting, Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi said that the unconstitutional bill to limit the powers of the Chief Justice was passed in the joint session of the Parliament, it is a negation of democracy. Supreme Court’s deadline has expired. Shehbaz Sharif insulted the court by not releasing the funds.\

Elahi said that constitutionally and legally Shehbaz Sharif has been disqualified, and the disqualification is written on the wall. “The PDM group is engaged in flouting the Constitution and history will take account of them. Constitution and Supreme Court are side by side,” he maintained.
Elahi said that PDM is plotting to fight the institutions. “The Chief Justice will be the leader in difficult times, the nation stands with him. Nawaz Sharif’s revenge politics is to take revenge on Imran Khan. Nawaz Sharif will not succeed,” he said.
