LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) failed to facilitate cricketers in the new domestic season.
According to sources, Quaid-e-Azam Trophy Grade-II’s content between the regions Northern and Central Punjab is scheduled to play at Ittefaq RLCA Ground. The ground is known as a non first-class ground in Lahore without any facility for the cricketers.

The ground lacks basic facilities such as a proper dressing room. The players are forced sit outside. There is no designated lounge for lunch as well. Local cricketers along with coach and other staff take their lunch in the open ground.
There is no proper security system designed for the safety of the players either, added sources.
According to the PCB official, the local players are given the non-first class ground because of the on-going international series between Pakistan and Bangladesh women’s cricket teams. The matches of the series are being played in Lahore City Cricket Association Ground.
