Patient kills doctor over late arrival at clinic in Gujranwala

GUJRANWALA: In a shocking incident, a patient has fatally shot the doctor in Gujranwala for coming late to the clinic.

According to police, the incident took place in the limits of Ferozewala police station, where a patient named Ali Raza lost his cool over late arrival of the doctor, Afzal Khan.

The patient contacted the doctor and requested him to come to the clinic; when the deceased doctor arrived, they got into a fight over his tardiness.

The doctor was shot by the patient during the argument, killing him there and then, according to the authorities.

The initial report said that Ali Raza is a drug addict. Efforts were underway for his arrest, the police said.
