ISLAMABAD: The total number of deaths in Pakistan due to the coronavirus has reached 6,424 and 36,886 people have been affected.
According to the latest figures released by the National Command and Operations Center, 582 new cases of coronavirus and 4 deaths have been reported in the country in the last 24 hours. In Pakistan, 293,159 the virus victims have recovered and the number of active cases has risen to 7,303.
The number of coronavirus cases in Sindh has reached 134,243. 98,487 cases have been reported in Punjab, 37,387 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 14,499 in Balochistan, 16,207 in Islamabad, 2,550 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and 3,513 in Gilgit.
The death toll from the coronavirus has risen to 2,227 in Punjab and 2,463 in Sindh, while 1,258 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 180 in Islamabad, 145 in Balochistan, 82 in Gilgit-Baltistan, and 69 in Azad Kashmir.

There are facilities for coronavirus patients in 735 hospitals in Pakistan and the number of ventilators for coronavirus patients in hospitals is 1,920.
There are 132 testing laboratories operating in the country and trace, test, and quarantine strategies are working effectively in several cities.
