In the final match of the Tri-Nation Series, Pakistan won the toss and elected to field against the visiting Sri Lankan team.
Pakistan had already qualified for the final, while Sri Lanka secured their place by defeating Pakistan in the previous match.
According to details, the final of the Tri-Nation Series is scheduled to take place today at 6 PM, with Sri Lanka facing Pakistan at the Rawalpindi Stadium.
The national team qualified for the final after winning all three of its initial matches, whereas Sri Lanka reached the final by defeating Pakistan earlier in the tournament.
Pakistan’s captain, Salman Ali Agha, stated that Shaheen Afridi has been included in place of Mohammad Wasim Jr. Earlier in the series, Sri Lanka defeated Zimbabwe and then Pakistan to secure their spot in the final.
Overall, Pakistan qualified by winning 3 out of 4 matches, while Sri Lanka booked their place after winning 2 matches.
Before the final, Pakistan captain Salman Ali Agha and Sri Lankan captain Dasun Shanaka posed for photographs with the trophy at a local hotel.
