KARACHI: Gold prices witnessed a downward trend across the country’s bullion markets at the start of the new business week, while silver rates remained completely unchanged.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola decreased by Rs. 2,700 on Monday, September 21, 2026, bringing the new rate down to Rs. 457,536 per tola.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold registered a decline of Rs. 2,315, settling at Rs. 392,263.
On the other hand, silver prices in the local market remained stable. The price of 24-karat silver stood firm at Rs. 7,100 per tola.
Data released by the Association indicates that international markets also experienced a dip in gold prices, where the rate per ounce dropped by $27 to reach $4,350.
Market analysts attribute this recent correction in domestic gold prices to fluctuating trends in the international market, while local silver rates continue to hold their ground for now.
