131 Pakistani nationals have reportedly been deported from various countries due to their involvement in offenses such as drug trafficking, illegal entry, and leaving jobs without notice.
According to media reports, Saudi Arabia deported 74 Pakistanis for drug peddling and job abandonment. The United Arab Emirates (UAE) also expelled several Pakistani nationals on charges of illegal entry, theft, and drug-related offenses.
Among the deportees, one individual was denied entry upon arrival and immediately sent back to Pakistan, while another was deported from the UAE for allegedly attempting to die by suicide.
Moreover, Pakistani nationals were deported from Oman, Cambodia, Bahrain, Azerbaijan, Iraq, and Mexico. In a separate incident, two individuals accused of human smuggling were deported from Mauritania and Senegal.
Last month, 52 more Pakistani nationals were deported from seven countries, including Saudi Arabia, the United States, and Sweden. Three of them, arriving from Saudi Arabia and the US, were arrested at Karachi Airport, while the rest were allowed to return home.
Sources within the immigration department revealed that two individuals blacklisted by Saudi Arabia were sent back to Pakistan, while 11 others were deported for overstaying in the Kingdom. Additionally, nine were deported following complaints from their sponsors, and seven due to the loss of their passports or visas.
