Nine criminals including terrorists killed in KP police operations

KHYBER PAKHTUNKHWA: Nine criminals, including proclaimed offenders and terrorists, were killed during police operations across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province last week.
A KP police spokesman said the criminals were killed in seven police encounters conducted by police as part of a campaign against the notorious criminals in different areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
The spokesman man further told that the two commanders of Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan Bhittani Group, wanted to police in several cases of terrorism, were killed in Tank during an encounter with the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) police, the spokesman added.
It further stated Tank police conducted an operation against Inamullah Group in which Inamullah along with his accomplices  Mursaleen and Balqiyas were killed.
The proclaimed offender, Inamullah, was one of the most dreaded criminals of Tank and Lakki districts, who was involved in several cases including murders, kidnapping, snatching and attack on law enforcement agencies.
Citing another proclaimed offender Rehmatullah, the police spokesman said Rehmatullah was killed in Lakki during a police shootout. He was wanted to police in three cases of murder, an attempt of murder and gambling.
likewise, another criminal,  Saleem Khan, who was allegedly involved in a brutal murder case, was killed in a shootout while the other two wanted criminals including Noor Nawaz and Asghar Badshah were arrested by the police.
Tank police in a shootout killed an extortionist, Qudratullah, son of Ubaidullah, who was accused of demanding Rs 600,000 from a local businessman.
