NHA increases toll tax on motorways and highways: Check new rates

Lahore-Islamabad Motorway (M-2)

The National Highway Authority (NHA) has increased toll rates across Pakistan, with the new charges coming into effect from July 10, 2026.

The new rates apply to national highways and major motorways, with increases introduced for various vehicle categories.

Under the revised schedule, toll charges on national highways, including the GT Road, have been set at Rs100 for cars, Rs200 for wagons, and Rs300 for buses.

On the Islamabad-Lahore Motorway (M-2), toll rates have been increased by 7%, with the revised charges remaining applicable until April 23, 2027.

The toll for cars, jeeps, and taxis travelling on the full route has been raised to Rs1,430.

Meanwhile, toll charges on the Multan-Sukkur Motorway (M-5) have increased, with the rate for cars rising from Rs1,200 to Rs1,500.

The Dera Ismail Khan-Hakla Motorway (M-14) has also seen an increase in toll rates, with car charges going up from Rs650 to Rs800.

The revised toll structure also covers other key motorways, including M-1, M-3, M-4, E-35, and E-75, where rates have been adjusted across different vehicle categories.
