New category added to ‘Pakistan Citizens Portal’ app on FBR’s request

ISLAMABAD: A separate category on Wednesday has been added to the ‘Pakistan Citizens Portal’ application on the formal request of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).
The separate category was added upon the formal request of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) that the app should appear in the mobile and computer application.

With the new feature in ‘Citizen’s portal’, people will be able to register their complaints directly to the concerned authorities, easily and more conveniently.
Chairman FBR, Shabbar Zaidi, had given a special briefing on the subject and tendered the request for the feature in the application.
On this matter, an official notification was issued by the office of the Prime Minister confirming the news.
Earlier on Tuesday, Chairman FBR, Syed Shabbar Zaidi said that the condition of Computer National Identity Card (CNIC) for purchase of over Rs50,000 could be relaxed for one month but not omitted completely.
Citizen Portal is an integrated citizen grievance redressal system connecting all government organizations both at federal and provincial levels. The system serves as a carrier of complaints to their respective offices across all over Pakistan.
