Naseer Soomro, one of the tallest individuals in the world, passed away in Shikarpur, Sindh, his brother has confirmed his death, as reported by national media.
According to a report, Riaz Soomro, the brother of Naseer Soomro, who made Pakistan proud, stated that the 56-year-old had been suffering from a lung disease for several months and was facing medical complications.
Riaz Soomro mentioned that Naseer Soomro was under treatment at home, and his funeral prayer will be offered in Shikarpur on Tuesday morning.
It is noteworthy that Naseer Soomro was 7 feet 9 inches tall and was considered one of the tallest people in the world. Due to his height, PIA had offered Naseer Soomro a job.
Former PIA CEO Arshad Malik expressed grief over his passing and said that Naseer was an employee of PIA. He further stated that the exceptionally tall Naseer Soomro was a person of extraordinary courage, and he bravely faced all challenges.
