Netflix is adding many new titles for its users and Pakistani viewers this April.
We have listed movies and shows that you can binge-watch next month:
1) Redeeming Love (April 1)
Redeeming Love is a Christian Western romance film based on Rivers’ 1991 novel of the same name, which was based on the Biblical story of Hosea. Set in the American Old West during the California Gold Rush. the movie stars Abigail Cowen, Tom Lewis, and Logan Marshall-Green.
2) Emily The Criminal (April 1)
Emily the Criminal is a crime thriller film starring Aubrey Plaza as the titular character, alongside Theo Rossi, Megalyn Echikunwoke, and Gina Gershon in supporting roles.
The film follows Emily Benetto, a young woman saddled with student debt and locked out of the job market due to a criminal record, who gets involved in a credit card scam that pulls her into the criminal underworld of Los Angeles.
3) Ripley (April 4)
Ripley will follow a rather similar plot to 1999’s The Talented Mr Ripley.
4) Parasyte: The Grey (April 5)
The blood-soaked action series follows Su-in, a woman torn between her human side and parasitic influence, amidst a war between parasites and “The Grey,” a team fighting to eradicate them. Based on Hitoshi Iwaaki’s manga, the series explores themes of coexistence and survival.
5) Files of the Unexplained (April 3)
Files of the Unexplained is an eight-episode docuseries exploring different bizarre cases, from the classic alien abduction story to the disturbing phenomenon of severed feet washing up ashore.
6) Scoop (April 5)
Netflix’s new movie will explore the lead-up to Prince Andrew’s historic interview with BBC. Every product was carefully curated by an Esquire editor.
7) Amar Singh Chamkila (April 12)
The film shows the untold true story of Punjab’s original rockstar of the masses, Amar Singh Chamkila. The film revolves around Amarjot Kaur and Amar Singh Chamkila.
8) Unlocked: A Jail Experiment (April 10)
The documentary explores what happens when inmates are given more independence rather than being kept under lock and key.
9) Baby Reindeer
A television adaptation of Richard Gadd’s award-winning stage play Baby Reindeer is coming to Netflix in April 2024. Based on Gadd’s own experience with a stalker, he will be reprising his role as himself in the adaptation. The official date has not been announced.
10) Smile (April 4)
Smile follows the story of a psychiatrist who after witnessing a bizarre, traumatic incident involving a patient, becomes increasingly convinced she is being threatened by an uncanny entity.
