DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Amid ongoing political tensions and security concerns in various parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the district administration has imposed Section 144 in Dera Ismail Khan and introduced a series of restrictions.
According to reports, Deputy Commissioner Hikmatullah Khan has imposed an immediate ban on pillion riding on motorcycles across the district in view of the prevailing political situation and law and order concerns in the province.
The restrictions have been introduced to maintain law and order and prevent any potential untoward incidents. Following the imposition of Section 144, suspicious gatherings, public meetings, rallies and processions, as well as activities that could threaten public peace, have been prohibited across the district.
