Kia Motors has officially teased the upcoming launch of its first electric vehicle (EV) in Pakistan, which is set to debut at the Pakistan Auto Show (PAPS) 2024, starting on October 25.

With the tagline “Stay tuned to Electrify your future,” Kia hints at its entry into the Pakistani EV market, though the specific model remains undisclosed.

Industry speculation suggests the vehicle could be the all-electric Kia EV5, but the company has yet to confirm this. Excitement is building as automakers gear up to showcase their latest innovations at PAPS 2024. Kia’s EV launch is expected to make a notable impact, in line with the global shift toward sustainable transportation.

Pakistan’s EV market has seen increased activity recently. BYD, one of the world’s largest EV manufacturers, has entered the market, while Changan has launched its EV brand Deepal. Additionally, Eco-Green Motors and Regal Automobiles have received licenses to locally assemble the Honri Ve and Seres3, further fueling the EV momentum in the country.
