The Sindh Building Control Authority has urged citizens to exercise caution and avoid unsafe and dilapidated buildings in light of recent rainfall in Karachi.
According to an SBCA spokesperson, on the instructions of Director General Muzammil Hussain, officials are conducting awareness campaigns across urban areas and have directed residents of highly dangerous structures to evacuate immediately.
The spokesperson added that SBCA teams are disseminating safety guidelines and warning residents in advance to prevent potential accidents during further rainfall.
