As per the information, The Body Shop Pakistan posted on its Instagram account, the company in Pakistan remains unaffected by the ongoing chaos and people can shop in-store and online like they used to.
The branded shop’s Instagram post read: ‘The Body Shop Pakistan wants to reassure all our valued customers that we remain unaffected by any decisions made in the US. You can continue to indulge in your favourite The Body Shop products both in-store and online.’
According to the post, The Body Shop Pakistan’s commitment to providing customers with high-quality, ethically sourced beauty essentials remains unwavering.
Why did The Body Shop file for bankruptcy?
According to NBC, The Body Shop has faced an extended period of financial challenges under past owners, coinciding with a difficult trading environment for the wider retail sector.
The Body Shop is shutting the doors to all its United States locations after filing for bankruptcy, the company announced this month. The skincare and cosmetics chain said it also plans to close dozens of locations in Canada as a result of the bankruptcy case proceeding, according to a news release.
