RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir has said that Pakistan values its bilateral relations with Bahrain.
According to the details, Army Chief General Asim Munir was met by the National Guards Commander of Bahrain during which matters of mutual interest including Pakistan-Bahrain relations, regional situation, and security issues were discussed.
A statement issued by the Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR) said that during the meeting between the Army Chief and the Commander of the National Guards of Bahrain, the promotion of bilateral military cooperation was discussed.
According to the ISPR statement, regional security, counter-terrorism efforts, and training exchanges were also discussed during the meeting. The strengthening of bilateral military cooperation was also discussed.
According to the statement, during the meeting, Army Chief General Asim Munir said that Pakistan values strong defense, diplomatic and economic relations with Bahrain.
Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir said that Pakistan is determined to promote defense and military cooperation with Bahrain. It should be noted that bilateral relations between Pakistan and Bahrain are based on historical, religious, and cultural foundations.
