Former anchor and YouTuber Imran Riaz Khan has arrived in London after leaving Pakistan.

He announced his arrival on X, previously known as Twitter, expressing gratitude to former Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, Qasim Suri, for his assistance.

Imran Riaz’s family confirmed to Geo News that he has reached London safely and intends to return to Pakistan when conditions permit. He emphasized the importance of navigating perilous situations to leave one’s home country rather than accepting offers for safer transport via special flights.

In his tweet, he stated, “I am thankful for my steadfastness against all forms of injustice. I have endured severe torture and harsh imprisonment, facing ten arrests and numerous legal challenges. I was unable to perform Hajj, yet I have remained patient and will return to Pakistan once I have addressed some critical responsibilities entrusted to me.”

He expressed his appreciation for Suri’s guidance and mentioned that he exited the country via land routes.

Riaz disclosed that he undertook a hazardous overland journey, confronting various dangers, including potential wild animal attacks.

He has faced multiple legal issues, as he was reportedly accused of disseminating misinformation. Riaz enjoys significant support, particularly among followers of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party.
