MULTAN: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Vice Chairman and former foreign minister Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Sunday said that Imran Khan would address public meeting in Multan on May 29.
Addressing a public gathering in Multan on late Sunday night, Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that son of Benazir Bhutto went London to beg for 10 seats in Punjab from Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif.
Qureshi said that peaceful protest will be held outside Election Commission offices across the country on April 26 (Tuesday).
Former foreign minister said that turncoats will not get very few votes in the next general election and that nation has categorically rejected the ‘imported’ government.

Last week, former prime minister and PTI Chairman Imran Khan demanded an open hearing into the matter of foreign conspiracy in Supreme Court and claimed that he was right all along and the National Security Committee’s (NSC) latest statement proves that there was a US conspiracy against his government.
He was addressing his first press conference after his removal from office via a no-confidence motion. He added that the NSC meeting — with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in the chair — endorsed that the cable was genuine and that Pakistan’s ex-ambassador to the US held a meeting with American official Donald Lu, where the latter used undiplomatic language.
