The Sindh government has launched a ‘Free Pink Electric Scooty Scheme’ for women, aiming to empower women by making daily transportation safer and more accessible. The initiative, announced today through a public advertisement in leading newspapers, is part of the government’s broader efforts to support women’s mobility, independence, and security.
According to the advertisement, the scheme is being run under the Transport and Mass Transit Department and executed by the Sindh Mass Transit Authority. It offers free electric scooters (EV scooties) to eligible women across the province.
Who Can Apply?
To be eligible, applicants must:

Be permanent residents of Sindh

Must be a student or a working woman

Must have a car or motorcycle driving license
Preference will be given to women registered under the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) or those holding social security cards.
