The Pakistan Airport Authority has reopened the airspace over Lahore, Islamabad, and Sialkot amid escalating tensions between India and Pakistan.
According to a NOTAM issued by the Airport Authority, the airspaces of Lahore, Islamabad, and Sialkot have been opened.
Earlier, three major airports of the country were temporarily closed. A NOTAM issued by the Airport Authority had stated that flight operations at Karachi, Lahore, and Sialkot airports would remain suspended.
Earlier, DG ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry stated that India once again attempted an incursion into Pakistan last night, which was completely thwarted. India sent 12 drones, all of which were shot down.
According to details, the spokesperson for the Pakistan Army, Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, stated during a news briefing that India sent drones to various locations in Pakistan, including Karachi and several other cities.
The Director General ISPR said that the Pakistan Army neutralized the Indian drones. During this operation, four Pakistan Army personnel were injured. In Ghotki, one civilian was martyred and another injured.
