Residents across Karachi and several parts of Sindh have been advised to brace for continued hot and humid conditions over the coming days, as the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) forecasts persistently high temperatures and unstable weather patterns in some regions.
According to the Met Office, most areas of Sindh are expected to experience hot and dry weather, with rising humidity levels adding to the discomfort.
Officials said that due to heat and moisture in the atmosphere, cloud formation may occur in some isolated locations across the province.
The PMD further said that districts including Dadu, Larkana, Sukkur, and Ghotki may experience partly cloudy conditions, with chances of light rain accompanied by gusty winds and thunderstorm activity at scattered locations.
In Karachi, the weather is expected to remain hot and humid over the next three days. The Met Office warned that strong winds may also sweep through the city today and tomorrow, offering brief relief in some areas.
The maximum temperature in Karachi is forecast to reach up to 39°C today, with high humidity levels likely to make conditions feel even warmer than the actual temperature.
