Harassment Allegations: Lecturer commits suicide in Lahore

LAHORE: A lecturer of English at a college in Lahore has committed suicide earlier this week.

Police sources have revealed that the lecturer, Muhammad Afzal took his life by consuming a toxic substance. This unfortunate incident occurred when the administration department of the college did not issue an absolving letter to him from the allegations of sexual harassment made by a female student.

Police sources further added that lecturer’s family had received the body after showing reluctance to file a case.
