PM to inaugurate Kartarpur Corridor on 9th November
LAHORE: Prime Minister Imran Khan will inaugurate the Kartarpur Corridor on the 9th of November as the project enters in final phase.
According to sources, construction of the shrine along with its painting has been completed.
For the floors of the shrine, that are wide-spread on approximately 10 acres, imported marble has been used.
The shrine will be receiving electricity from Shakar Garh grid station, added sources.
To ensure proper security, CCTV cameras have also been installed across the shrine.
Apart from this, border terminal building and temporary guesthouses have also constructed to facilitate the Sikh pilgrims.
It is pertinent to mention that registration for Sikh pilgrims has been started who will be visiting Kartarpur on the occasion of 550th Birth Anniversary of Baba Guru Nanak on 12th November 2019.
