Actor Hamza Ali Abbasi has been accused of using religion for fame.
When Hamza Ali Abbasi announced taking a sabbatical from acting, it was huge news with fans disappointed by the decision while others said it was a publicity stunt and he will not take this seriously.
Though his delayed movie ‘The Legend Of Maula Jatt’ has been released today. Hamza has said that he will do acting projects where the script will not be against the limits he has set for himself. However, many times whenever he gives a statement on any issue on social media, people have accused him of using religion for personal traction.
While addressing this issue, Ali Abbasi said a person should be used to negative comments and criticism if you choose to engage with people on social media. “As long as you know you are right, you don’t need to feel hurt,” Hamza said by adding that there is also positive critique and that helps him rectify his opinions many times.

On the work front, Abbasi’ ‘The Legend Of Maula Jatt’ has also been released in UK, Saudi Arabia, and US. The Legend of Maula Jatt is said to be the most expensive movie in the Pakistani film industry with A-list actors.
A reboot of Yunus Malik’s 1979 cult classic Maula Jatt, the film is re-telling the story of the rivalry between Maula Jatt and Noori Natt. Stars like Hamza Ali Abbasi, Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan, Humaima Malick, Gohar Rasheed, and many more are working in it.
