LAHORE: Former Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that Tehreek-e-Insaf is the biggest political party in the country.
According to details, during one of his interviews, Imran Khan said that any political party is dead when the people stop supporting it and its vote bank falls. “It is not PTI but PDM which has lost 30 out of 37 by-elections,” he said.
Khan said, “The PDM government took action against us by combining the machinery of the government, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).” He said that more than 10,000 of our workers are in jails and the rest are underground, yet the government is afraid of elections.
The former prime minister said that the reason for fearing the election is that his vote bank has fallen. “PTI is now the largest party in Pakistan. Either it will be decided that there will be no elections in Pakistan and martial law will be imposed or else there will be a decision of elections. When elections are held, PTI will win.” he asserted.

The PTI chairman said that the government is nervous about the election. “I had demanded early elections for Pakistan as the election was and is the need of Pakistan,” he said.
“Until elections are held, political and economic stability will not come. If it does not happen, Pakistan may default. Pakistan is suffering from the worst inflation in history. There is no hope ahead. The solution was elections,” Khan added.
The PTI chairman further added that the constitution of the country says that the elections are to be held after 90 days after the dissolution of the assemblies, but despite the order of the Supreme Court, the government did not hold the elections within 90 days. “The reason for this is that everyone is nervous about the election. The May 9 inquiry is simple,” he said.
Imran Khan said that many places were burnt on May 9. “The fire broke out in four or five places, including the Corps Commander’s House and Radio Pakistan. How difficult are investigations? Because there are CCTV cameras. Safe City has cameras upstairs. It is not difficult to find out who burned it,” he added.
He said that the Constitution gives us the right to peaceful protest. The army ransacked and took me like a terrorist from inside the High Court, its reaction was bound to come. “PTI’s reaction is a peaceful protest. Even if a peaceful protest is held in front of GHQ, it is not a crime,” he said.
