KARACHI: The safe-haven gold has witnessed a notable decline in its demand today as the price of per tola 24 karat plunged by Rs2,800 to trade at Rs184,500 as compared to the previous close of Rs181,700 per tola.
Similarly, the rates of 10-gram 24-karat gold also dropped by Rs2,401 to Rs158,179, while the price of 10-gram 22-karat stood at Rs144,997, as per reported by All Sindh Sarafa Jewelers Association.

Meanwhile, silver prices in the domestic market fell by Rs20 per tola and Rs17.15 per 10 grams to settle at Rs2,080 and Rs1,800.41.
Internationally, gold lost its shine by $5 and sold at $1,915 per ounce while the price of silver stood at $24.25 per ounce.
