The German Consulate General in Karachi has announced the temporary suspension of all consular and visa services on Thursday, May 28, and Friday, May 29, 2026, in observance of Eidul Adha.
According to the official notification, all visa processing, consular assistance, and related operations will remain closed during the two-day holiday period. Regular services are scheduled to resume on Monday, June 1, 2026.
The consulate advised applicants and visitors to plan their appointments and document submissions accordingly to avoid inconvenience during the holiday closure.
Under normal operations, the Visa and Consular Section of the German Consulate functions from Monday to Friday between 8:00 AM and 12:30 PM. Passport collection services are available from Monday to Thursday between 1:30 PM and 2:30 PM.
The German mission also encouraged the public to check the official holiday schedule and updates through its official channels before visiting the consulate.
