The Indian government announced a reduction of Rs 100 in the prices of LPG cylinders on the occasion of International Women’s Day.
The news was announced by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a gift on Women’s Day. In an X post, Modi wrote, “Today, on Women’s Day, our Government has decided to reduce LPG cylinder prices by Rs. 100.”
He added, “This will significantly ease the financial burden on millions of households across the country, especially benefiting our Nari Shakti.”
He concluded the post by saying, the government’s commitment to empowering women and ensuring ‘Ease of Living’ for them.
