SADIQABAD: A disturbing incident has been reported in Sadiqabad, Punjab, where a woman allegedly subjected her four-year-old son to severe physical abuse, leaving him seriously injured. A video purportedly showing the incident has been circulating widely on social media, triggering concern over the child’s safety.
According to reports, the woman recorded a video of the alleged abuse of her young son, Subhan, and sent it to her own mother through WhatsApp.
In the accompanying message, she allegedly threatened that if her mother wanted to see the child alive, she should come and take him away immediately; otherwise, she would kill him.
Following the circulation of the video and reports of the incident, local police reportedly took notice of the matter.
Police officials said a case was being registered against the woman under relevant legal provisions. They added that efforts were under way to arrest the suspect and bring her to justice.
